“Opal Cremations provided our family with the best service any grieving family could ask for. Troy was very attentive to our needs. Opal is the only company I called that did  not require payment upfront. Troy replied to my request quickly and provided me with the brochures and what the service will include. Within a week we needed Opal services. The hospice nurse called Troy as soon as our love one passed away. They sent someone to pick up her body. We dressed up our loved one in her beautiful kimono. Her body was wrapped to perfection and it did not look like one of those crime scene body bags. It was done elegantly. Follow up calls and emails after the body was picked were done promptly and professionally, forms to obtain to complete the death certificates, permits for burial at sea were provided. The remains were delivered in person. Elaine, Heath were so nice and helpful as well. I will refer any of my friends or family to Opal Cremation when needed. Thank you all!”

“My father passed away a little sooner than we expected. I was in the process of arranging cremation procedures when my dad passed. Opal was amazing. They made the process so easy, much of it over the phone and through email. I had a unique situation with my father wanting his final resting place in Japan. Tony said he would call the Japanese Consulate to find out about what that would take. It never entered my mind that I would need to do all that. He did it for me and got the information I needed for when I do go to Japan with the ashes. My dad did not want anything other then cremation. Tony was so kind throughout the process. The day my dad died, Tony arranged to have his body picked up within a couple of hours. The people who came were just as compassionate and kind. Tony took care of contacting Social Security. Let me know the LA County is backed up so the death certificates would take longer than usual. They are very affordable and when the time comes for my mom, I will call Opal Cremation and know that Tony will take care of what needs to be done. I highly recommend them.”

“I first off would like to thank the opal cremation team from the bottom of my heart. The customer service I received was fantastic and I felt as if I was dealing with people who really understood what I was going through. “I had the best experience with Opal Cremation. When my mother passed away, it was so hard for me to contact Cremation centers, specially I heard most of them were impersonal and even rude. Then a friend of mine suggested Opal. I called them with a heavy feeling in my heart. But after just two minutes of talking to Troy, I felt that I was talking to a member of my family. He was so kind and soothing and understanding that immediately the feeling of heaviness and anxiety went away and I trusted that my mother was in good hands.

Throughout the process, Elaine worked with me. She was as kind and caring as Troy was. She answered all my questions with patience and care and explained every step of the way. She was always available and I could reach her day and night. When I left her a message, she responded no later than 10 minutes. She even helped us transfer the ashes to France. She got me all the information and documents I needed for this process.

They handled most of the communication with the cemetery as well. But, everything was handled remotely for me. If you need face to face I can’t speak to that. I also especially liked the upfront pricing at Opal. It was very reasonable. When my parents died, their mortuary kept tacking on extra fees.”
